Accreditation
City Community Children’s Centre is accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC). The NCAC guiding principle is 'Putting Children First' and their vision is quality experiences and positive outcomes for all children. The Accreditation system is a five step process which measures the quality of care provided by the service and identifies areas for ongoing quality improvement.
The aim of this quality system is to promote and ensure quality outcomes for children, in the following areas:

Parent feedback is fundamental to the accreditation process. Families are involved in the self-study process, and are invited to complete a parent survey regarding all quality indicators. The Centre has an ongoing Centre Improvement plan which is displayed and updated through newsletters.
Quality improvement is an ongoing process for the centre, with input by parents,staff & management.
We are due to submit our next self study in 2012.
